Hi! My name is Sorayda Rivera, but I go by my nickname Sory. I am an Advertising and Public Relations major at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, TX. I am also a Student Life Editor for the college’s newspaper The Drumbeat. I will be graduating in May 2021.
I created this blog to publicize my work from this class. I have always wanted to create a website, but I never did. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to be in school, and I’m looking forward to the things I will continue to learn..
After I graduate with my associate’s degree at my current school, I will continue my education at Tyler’s University of Texas. My goal is to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.
Once I graduate, my objective is to work for a non-profit organization. I plan on using the skills and knowledge I gained while at school to make a difference in this world.
